Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, and Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actor, director, producer, playwright and Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother at work and attending play rehearsals. Silk was a small girl in commercials. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto for further development of her acting career in the month of November 1999, and during the decade that followed, she relocated into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got engaged in 2009, and then married in a civil ceremony that took place in December. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows at the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, 2016. Silk is well-known for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by for the Gemini Awards. The role was assigned to her of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the final season episode. She announced the pregnancy to viewers of the show in an episode of the Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to working. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production for the fourth season. CNN recognized Bo's performance along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV of 2013. Entertainment Television.
